About The Designer
From an early age, Jan Stephens developed music, art and design skills as she grew into a young woman. Jan became an educator with a career first in the classroom, then as an administrator. However, she continued to successfully pursue music, interior design, painting and ultimately, jewelry design.
Her inherent creativity fostered her jewelry interests after a chance meeting with another artist who was kind enough to provide training and guidance. A friendship evolved along with an exchange of ideas. Now, some three years hence, comes Wrapsody Jewelry Studio. Wrapsody is the culmination of Jan’s training and interest in art and design and the execution of fine wire-wrapped jewelry featuring 14kt Rolled Gold and Sterling Silver wire with semi-precious gemstones, cabochons, cameos, dicroic glass, Swarovski Crystal and other artist created pieces. Jan’s wire creations reflect the diversity of her skill and offer her clients unique pieces that reflect their personalities.
Combining her extensive musical background with her jewelry design, all of Jan’s pieces are named after a dance style, musical term, song or genre. There is movement with her pieces and she wants to recognize their individual style. With names like Rumba, Salsa and Reggaeton, one can quickly see these delightful works of art are designed to spice-up your life.

These are wonderful social events where customers can participate in designing the unique
pieces from an extensive selection of fabulous gemstones and can watch her magically twist
